Marvel Rivals just released Discord Shop for instant purchases

A major new update has arrived for Marvel Rivals, but it’s not happening inside the game itself. NetEase has officially launched the Discord Shop, allowing you to browse and buy items directly through the app. It is a massive step for community integration, but unfortunately, it comes with a couple of limitations you need to know about.

The new feature is currently live, but it is region-locked to the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, and Oceania. Additionally, the shop is currently available on the Discord desktop app only, and items purchased through the shop can only be redeemed in Marvel Rivals on PC.

How to access the Marvel Rivals Discord Shop

To access the shop, you must be using the Discord desktop app, as it is not currently available on mobile devices. Furthermore, all the purchases you make are platform-specific, which is another downside. Unfortunately, this means that console players will have to wait for a bit longer to take advantage of the new shop. The good news, however, is that NetEase is working on expanding this feature.

Finding the shop is quite simple. First, you need to join the official Marvel Rivals Discord server. Once you are in, look for the Marvel Rivals Shop tab located towards the top of the server’s channel list. From there, you can browse all available items, including costumes, bundles, and emotes.

Before you can make a purchase, it is necessary to link your Marvel Rivals and Discord accounts. This step is mandatory to ensure that the items you buy are sent to the correct profile. To link accounts, you can open the Community tab from the main menu. Alternatively, visit the official website of the video game.

The shop also brings great social features, including the ability to create wishlists and gift items through DMs. Interestingly, you don’t even have to open the game to send a gift.

The new shop gives you a great opportunity to spend limited-time Units, which are set to expire in mid-December 2025!
